This shirt commemorates the radical MLK that has been all but erased by efforts to whitewash, soften, and commercialize his image. MLK was part of a larger movement of Freedom Fighters who used the tools of direct action and civil disobedience amongst others much as we do now. They were radical, principled and uncompromising.

Impulses to remove Dr. King from the movement that elevated him must end. We resist efforts to reduce a long history marred with the blood of countless members of our community into iconic images of men in suits behind pulpits.

2015 is the year that we #ReclaimMLK.
